1. Purpose

This Cookies Policy explains how the Quantalis website uses cookies and similar technologies and how Users can manage their preferences.

Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on or read from a User’s device when visiting a website. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels or other device-level identifiers where used.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are used only where required for the operation, security or requested functionality of the website. They may be used for:

  • · session management and authentication
  • · security, fraud prevention and abuse prevention
  • · load balancing and technical website operation
  • · remembering language or interface settings requested by the User
  • · storing the User’s cookie-consent preferences

Where applicable law permits, strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent because the requested website or security function cannot operate properly without them.

3. Analytics Cookies

If the Company uses non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies, they are used to understand website usage, performance and technical stability.

Where applicable law requires consent, analytics cookies will not be set or accessed before the User gives valid consent. Consent may be withdrawn through the website’s cookie settings tool.

Analytics tools may be provided by third parties. The specific provider, purpose, storage period and third-party access information for cookies actually used will be identified in the cookie settings tool or related cookie information made available on the website.

4. Marketing and Advertising Cookies

The Company does not currently use marketing cookies, third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If the Company introduces such technologies in the future, this Policy and the cookie settings tool will be updated before they are used, and any consent or opt-out mechanism required by applicable law will be provided.

5. Third-Party Technical Cookies

Hosting, cybersecurity, payment or other infrastructure providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to provide secure functionality requested by the User.

Where a third-party technology is not strictly necessary, it will be treated as a non-essential technology and subject to applicable consent or opt-out requirements.

6. Consent and Cookie Preferences

Where consent is required, non-essential cookies are activated only after an affirmative choice by the User. Refusing non-essential cookies will not prevent the User from accessing website functions that do not depend on those cookies.

The website’s cookie notice and settings tool allow the User to accept or reject non-essential cookie categories and to change previously selected preferences.

Where applicable law requires the Company to recognize a legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signal for relevant processing, the Company will honor that signal to the extent required by law.

7. Cookie Information and Storage Periods

The duration of a cookie depends on its purpose. Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain for the period specified for that cookie or until deleted by the User.

The cookie settings tool available on the website identifies, for cookies actually deployed, the cookie or technology name where applicable, provider, category, purpose, duration or expiry and whether a third party may have access, to the extent required by applicable law.

8. Browser Controls

Most browsers allow Users to view, block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website from functioning correctly.

Browser settings operate independently from the Quantalis cookie settings tool and may need to be configured separately on each device or browser.

9. Personal Data

Where information collected through cookies or similar technologies constitutes personal data, it is processed in accordance with the Quantalis Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

10. Changes to this Cookies Policy

The Company may update this Cookies Policy when the technologies used on the website or applicable legal requirements change. Where required, Users will be asked to make a new consent choice before materially different non-essential cookie processing begins.
