CURRENCY CONVERSION STATEMENT

Quantalis

1. Display and Transaction Currency

Quantalis Subscription prices are displayed and charged in euros (EUR) unless a different transaction currency is expressly displayed during checkout before the User confirms the payment or Subscription.

The binding price and transaction currency are the price and currency clearly displayed and accepted by the User during checkout.

2. Cardholder Account Currency

If the User’s card, bank account or card-issuer account is denominated in a currency different from the transaction currency, the User’s card issuer, bank or card scheme may convert the transaction amount into the User’s account currency.

The applicable exchange rate, conversion method, foreign-exchange margin, international transaction fee or other issuer/bank fee is determined by the User’s card issuer, bank or card scheme. SALAZAR & Co. d.o.o. does not set or control those rates or fees.

3. Amount Shown on the Card or Bank Statement

The amount ultimately shown in the User’s account currency may differ from the EUR amount displayed by Quantalis because of exchange-rate movements, issuer conversion rules, card-scheme processing, foreign transaction fees or the date on which the transaction is authorized, processed or posted.

The Company is responsible for charging the transaction amount and currency accepted during checkout, but is not responsible for a separate conversion rate or fee imposed by the User’s issuer or bank, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

4. Dynamic Currency Conversion

If a payment provider, acquiring bank, card scheme or other third party offers dynamic currency conversion or a similar service during checkout, the User should review the offered currency, exchange rate and any stated fee before accepting that conversion.

SALAZAR & Co. d.o.o. does not provide foreign-exchange or currency-conversion services and does not guarantee that a third-party conversion option is more favorable than the User’s issuer conversion.

5. Refunds and Currency Differences

Where a refund is required by law or otherwise approved, it will be submitted through the payment channel in the original transaction currency unless the payment provider or acquiring bank requires another lawful processing method.

If the User’s issuer converts the refund into another currency, the amount received may differ from the amount originally debited in the User’s account currency because of exchange-rate changes or issuer fees. The Company does not control those conversion differences, except to the extent mandatory law provides otherwise.

6. Taxes and Other Charges

Applicable VAT, sales tax, use tax or other mandatory tax is handled separately from currency conversion and will be included or added as required by applicable law and displayed where required before payment.

Any separate fee charged by the User’s bank, card issuer or card scheme is governed by the User’s relationship with that third party.

7. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Statement excludes, limits or waives a Consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, limited or waived.
